Painter Position Summary
Prepares, primes, sands, seals, patches and paints furniture, surfaces, buildings, and fixtures utilizing all types of painting materials such as varnish, lacquer, shellac, enamel, latex, epoxy, waterproofing and heat resistant finishes. Reads and understands blueprints. Offers assistance and advice on materials, designs, and color. Assists in the writing of specifications for repairs and new construction.
Painter Job Qualifications and Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Specialized training, certification, licensure or schooling preferred.
2 -3 years of residential or commercial experience
Communicates effectively, both orally and in writing.
Valid Florida Driver's License with good driving record
This individual will need to be empathetic, energetic and have an affinity for working with a diverse senior population.
