Florida Diabetes Camp (FDC) is a nonprofit organization that works with pediatric endocrinologists, diabetes educators, and medical staff to provide a fun, safe, and educational camp environment for children and teens with type 1 diabetes and their families. FDC programs empower campers with the confidence, skills, and knowledge to achieve their full potential.
Position Description
The Program Director is responsible for developing, planning, implementing, and evaluating programs and services for all camps and community programs that foster healthy management of type 1 diabetes in an atmosphere of recreation, social engagement, education, and fun. The Program Director reports to the Executive Director and works closely with the Executive Director and Camp Directors to ensure the effective daily operations of the programs.
