Operational Maintenance Manager |The Collier Companies

This is an on-site role, reporting from any of The Collier Companies' communities.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multifamily Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. This unique role involves traveling to various struggling communities across the country, diagnosing maintenance issues, and implementing effective solutions to improve property conditions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in multifamily property maintenance, with expertise across a range of asset types including student housing, luxury apartments, lease-ups, and conventional properties.

Qualifications

Your Skills - Show Us What You Got:
  • Property Assessment:Conduct thorough inspections of assigned properties to identify maintenance and capital project issues and areas for improvement.
  • Strategic Planning:Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance plans to address property challenges and enhance overall conditions.
  • Team Leadership:Train, mentor, and, if necessary, restructure on-site maintenance teams to ensure they are equipped to maintain high standards and achieve property goals.
  • Operational Management:Oversee day-to-day maintenance operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices.
  • Problem Solving:Quickly and effectively resolve maintenance issues, minimizing disruption to residents and property operations.
  • Travel:Travel extensively to various properties, spending significant time on-site to ensure successful implementation of maintenance plans.
Qualifications:
  • Experience:Minimum of 3 years in multifamily property maintenance as a successful maintenance supervisor, with a strong background in managing the on-site maintenance for diverse asset types.
  • Skills:Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and handle high-pressure situations.
  • Education:training or certifications in maintenance-related fields preferred.
  • Certifications:EPA and CPO required. HVAC, and CAMT preferred.
  • Travel:Willingness and ability to travel extensively and stay on-site for extended periods.
