NV5 is an ENR Top 500 firm with offices throughout the U.S., offering a full range of professional services.ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking a Project Engineer to support the Transportation group, focusing on the preparation of design aspects such as roadway design, stormwater management, utility layout, and sizing.Preparation of designs and reportsPerforming calculationsUsing CADD/Civil 3DEnsuring compliance with applicable WMD, FDEP, local codes and requirementsCommunicating with project teams, clients, and agenciesPerforming site visits as neededAttending external meetingsQualificationsBachelor's degree in civil or agricultural engineeringUp to three years of experience in transportation designAbility to use AutoCAD (Civil 3D preferred)Ability to obtain PE Registration within five years of graduationMust pass a mandatory DMV checkWork Environment and Physical DemandsThe position involves indoor and outdoor environmental conditions, including weather extremes, dusty and noisy environments, and fieldwork involving long periods of standing, walking, and physical exertion.Ability to carry, lift, and push/pull up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.Ability to walk over rough terrain and stand for long hours.Physical abilities to see, hear, talk, climb, balance, and perform various movements.Overtime, weekend work, travel, and overnight stays may be required.NV5 offers a competitive compensation package, including medical, dental, life insurance, PTO, 401(k), and professional development opportunities.NV5 is an equal opportunity employer, committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.#J-18808-Ljbffr
