With extensive experience in road management and infrastructure development, Fugro supports you with Geo-data analysis, surveying, pavement evaluation, equipment, software, and design engineering and consultancy services.The Computer Programmer will propose, develop, and maintain databases and applications using tools such as Visual Studio, Microsoft SQL Server, and MS Office applications. This role involves managing databases and applications for projects, collaborating with engineers, technicians, subject-matter experts, and other IT staff on project requirements, schedules, deadlines, expected outcomes, algorithms, and development standards.Note: Fugro will not provide relocation or sponsorship for this position.Job Responsibilities Lead by example, prioritizing Quality, Health & Safety, Security, and Environmental protection.Develop software and applications using tools like Visual Studio (VB, C#), Excel (VBA), Access (VBA), ArcGIS, Python, and other languages and databases.Develop methods to extract, transfer, and load data from various formats.Maintain secure, complete, and current code bases.Prepare installation files and ensure correct deployment of applications.Create and present documentation and training materials.Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.Maintain good work relations, organize work efficiently, meet deadlines, and follow safety procedures.Support continuous process improvements and maintain an organized work area.Perform other duties as assigned.Job Requirements Authorized to work in the United States without restrictions.Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or at least 5 years of relevant experience with Visual Studio, SQL Server, and VB/C#.Strong skills in application development and database programming.Proficiency in Visual Studio, SQL, VBA, C#, and Microsoft SQL Server.Knowledge of computer hardware, QA/QC procedures, and office practices.What's in it for you?
