Our success is driven by a talented and dedicated team that collaborates to deliver exceptional results on every project.Your Role at AcoustiThe Acoustical Ceiling Installer is responsible for installing ceiling grid and tile systems on commercial and government projects. This role requires experience with ceiling layout, grid installation, blueprint interpretation, and hands-on construction. The Installer plays a key role in ensuring precision, quality, and safety in all phases of ceiling installation.In this position, you will contribute to our success by completing assignments independently and collaboratively, maintaining project schedules, and delivering craftsmanship that meets Acousti's standards.ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will:Read and interpret project blueprints and construction drawingsInspect drywall partitions, mechanical mountings, and masonry surfaces for level and plumb using lasers or water levelsInstall support wires for ceiling grid systemsHang dry lines to wall molding for guiding main runner placementNail or screw molding to walls and seal jointsScribe and cut tile edges to fit walls when molding is not usedMeasure and mark surfaces to lay out ceiling workInstall acoustical ceiling main runners and cross runnersCut tiles for fixtures and borders using hand tools (e.g., keyhole saw)Work on scaffolding, aerial lifts, ladders, and stiltsOperate powder actuated tools and lasersPerform duties in indoor and outdoor job sitesWork independently and as part of a teamMaintain construction schedules and meet phased deadlinesPerform additional tasks as assigned by the managerWhat We're Looking for in YouTo succeed in this role, you should have:4 to 5 years of acoustical ceiling installation experience (required)In-depth knowledge of materials, tools, layouts, and installation methodsAbility to read blueprints and follow project specificationsStrong attention to detail and craftsmanshipTools and reliable transportationAbility to lift up to 75 pounds and stand/walk for up to 8 hours per dayAbility to pass a drug testEducation RequirementsPreferred: High School Diploma or equivalentWhy Join Acousti?At Acousti, we offer more than just a job; we provide opportunities for growth and development in a collaborative, supportive environment.
