Staff Accountant Palm Beach

A luxury beach resort located in Palm Beach, Florida is looking to bring on a Staff Accountant to join their growing team. As the Staff Accountant, you will perform various accounting functions including preparing balance sheets, income statements, and bank reconciliations. This is a fully onsite position that will offer discounted rooms, golf, incredible benefits, and 30% off shopping and dining!

Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, and bank reconciliations
• Maintain accurate general ledger and financial reporting
• Review and allocate accounts payable disbursements
• Assist with external audits and tax filings
• Stay updated on accounting standards and use accounting technology
• Perform additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in accounting or related field
• Proven accounting experience with strong knowledge of principles and practices
• Proficient in financial analysis, reporting, and general ledger maintenance
• Experience working with external auditors and familiarity with tax regulations
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
