Janitorial Custodian Lead

Maintain specified common areas of assigned building, to include but not limited to, general custodial responsibilities. Train other employees in good cleaning practices as needed.

High School or GED, preferred.

Prior janitorial experience preferred.

Must pass a Level 2 Background check

• Ability to work for periods of time without direct supervision and train others as needed.
• Knowledge of, or willing to learn, use of tools, equipment and supplies relative to janitorial duties.
• Must be able to work flexible hours.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and able to perform duties that frequently require bending and lifting.

Essential Duties:

• Oversee other employees at work.
• Mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming.
• Waste removal and general cleaning.
• Pulling trash from containers in restrooms, hallways, common areas, and other areas as assigned.
• Assist in set-up and teardown of tables and chairs for pre- and post- facility events.
