You will help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment while actively monitoring guests in the pools, lazy river, and waterslides. This role requires attentiveness, professionalism, and a strong commitment to guest safety./ppThis position may require flexible scheduling availability./ppRequirements/ppstrongJob Requirements:/strong/pulliSupervise guests behavior in the pool area and immediate pool area/liliTest and balance pool chemicals./liliDocument as required by state and local regulations/liliMonitor and adjust pool temperature as directed/liliClean and vacuum the pool, clean skimmer baskets, backwash pool filters, and skim the pool with the skimmer as needed/liliEnsure pool bathrooms are clean, stocked with supplies and free of standing water/liliMonitor individuals entering and leaving the pool area./liliEnsure state capacity is not exceeded/liliEnsure all posted pool rules are being adhered to/liliEnsure safety equipment is present and in working order/liliCheck the first aid kit for needed supplies on a daily basis/liliSweep the pool deck and all surrounding areas daily/liliStraighten the pool furniture regularly, ensuring that furniture is clean and in working order at all times/liliClean clubhouse and surrounding common areas as needed/liliGarden and pull weeds in common areas as needed/li/ulpstrongJob Qualifications:/strong/pulliLifeguard certification required/liliMust be 18 years of age or older/liliMust have the flexibility to respond to resort needs during non-business hours/liliAbility to follow verbal and written instructions/liliBasic computer proficiency, including the ability to use email and the internet/liliStrong communication and organizational skills/li/ulpThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
