Responsible for balancing each days transactions and maintaining cash drawer. Answers general questions regarding Bank products/services, recommends additional services to clients and makes referrals accordingly. Responsible for selling, cross-selling and referring Bank products and services. Provides an excellent client experience, including a wide range of client inquiries or concerns either through direct personal action or referral to the appropriate department. Travels and works in offices that are experiencing Teller or Personal Banker staffing shortages on the Teller line./ppThis position requires the associate to drive on behalf of the Bank and the associate must adhere to Banks Motor Vehicle Guidelines. May require increased minimum limits and therefore an increase in premiums./ppAll associates at Capital City Bank, Capital City Wealth, and Capital City Home Loans have access to confidential client information and must practice discretion at all times./ppPrincipal Duties and Responsibilities:/polliRecommends and refers additional Bank services and products, retaining a working knowledge of all Bank services and products to the extent that the majority of client inquiries are easily and accurately answered./liliAccepts deposits and withdrawals from clients on business, personal and savings accounts./liliAccepts checks for cashing or paying, and verifies endorsements and funds./liliSells Official Checks./liliWorks deposits from Drop and Go./liliAccepts consumer/commercial and other bank loan payments./liliBalances teller drawer as needed./liliOpens and closes Teller window in accordance with procedures./liliCompletes Currency Transaction Report (CTR) and hold forms as required./liliAttends meetings as required./liliIssues cash advances./liliSells and processes new demand and time deposit accounts./liliPrepares paperwork for opening new accounts, orders checks and Debit/ATM cards, and provides materials as needed./liliResearches and resolves problems and responds to client inquiries on account status./liliKeeps informed of changes in Bank services and procedures./liliAssists in other areas of the Bank during peak business hours, when needed./liliSix month commitment to position is required, before internal posting for other positions within the Bank is permitted./li/olpAssociated Duties:/ppProvides additional support to manager and department colleagues. Completes all assigned/required Bank training within established timelines./ppKnowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA) Required:/polliCompletion of in-house Personal Banker I training./liliMust have reliable transportation, a valid drivers license, and a clean driving record./liliExcellent interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively and interact positively with clients as well as fellow associates./liliAbility to follow detailed instructions and a wide range of procedures requiring some judgment./liliRequires concentration to avoid mistakes in counting cash./liliAbility to perform basic mathematical computations using various business machines and/or computers./liliAbility to apply initiative and work with little supervision./liliAbility to exercise sound and reasonable judgment./liliAbility to stand for long periods of time./liliAbility to print legibly and accurately on forms and records./liliSales experience is preferable, particularly in cross-marketing products and services./liliMust have attained the age of 18 for coverage under insurance bond./liliMust adhere to Banks Motor Vehicle Guidelines./li/olpEducation:/ppMinimum high school diploma or equivalent required. Some college preferred, but not required. Relevant experience may substitute for the education requirement.
